I’m an oil painter with a sweet spot for the past. My true passion is painting portraits with a vintage, mid-century modern flare…but I love painting about all aspects of  life from the early mid 1900’s..especially fashion, old Hollywood, and beach city life. Immersing myself in historical research is all part of the process for me. Inspiration truly hits the moment I walk into an antique shop and smell the vintageness permeating through the walls and objects that lie waiting for a new home. I get a kick out of scouring every booth and cubby searching for that one object or photograph that will spark my imagination. The thrill of discovering what was, what life was like, and painting about it, all whilst listening to good ole Doo-wop melodies is where I live and breathe. I revel in keeping the beauty of the past alive and connecting with like- minded, retro- loving individuals, and with folks in general who appreciate a good ole fashion oil painting.
